Anonymous: I want to come out to my dad, but I'm afraid of what he's going to do or say when I tell him. I already told my mom and shes ok, still accepting it. but i asked her what she thinks dad will do, and she said be mad. She thinks my dad & I will get into a fight and I'm scared he won't love me anymore, I'm scared that he'll hit me, and I'm scared that when I tell him, he's just going to flip out...I've thought about telling him for the longest time, I just haven't found the right moment. any advice?

How about you and your mom sit your dad down. And tell him together. It’s better to do it with someone, then alone. But remember to take it slow.

Give your dad the benefit of the doubt, because you never know how he’ll react unless you do it. Have faith. It’ll be okay. c:
